The Blackfoot Butchers

Salt Yard is pleased to let our customers know that we will be opening The Blackfoot Butchers- a butcher and charcuterie shop- in Autumn 2008. Located just opposite Salt Yard in Charlotte Place it will stock a range of Spanish and Italian deli goodies as well.

ITV London Restaurant Awards 2008

We are thrilled to announce that Salt Yard has been nominated in the ITV London Restaurant Awards in the best Iberian catogary. The winner will be announced in September.

Restaurant Magazine "Best Dishes Awards" 2007

We are happy to announce that Salt Yard won the "best tapa" categorary for our Smoked Monkfish with Pancetta and apple Puree at the Restaurant Magazine annual awards.

The Independent, June 2007

Salt Yard was honoured to be recently included in The Independent's Top 100 Restaurants in the UK in their Saturday magazine.

New Head Chef

We are very pleased to announce that Benjamin Tish has joined us as Head Chef. He comes from the 3 Rosette Al Duca in St James' and The Crinan Hotel in Scotland. He brings Michelin Star experience and has a passion for seasonal ingredients and quality produce- a perfect match with Salt Yard!.

Bib Gourmand

Salt Yard has been awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide 2006 for "good food at moderate prices". This is a great acheivement within our first year of opening.

2 AA Rosettes

We are incredibly pleased to announce that Salt Yard has been awarded two AA rosettes for its delicious food. A wonderful achievement for our head chef Brian Villahermosa and his team.

Time Out Food & Drink Awards 2005

Hardens/ Rémy Martin Awards

We are very happy to reveal that we have been given a Rémy 2006 award for best new restaurant.
